Webinar on "Horizon 2020 Birth Day Inducement Prize"

The challenge of the ‘Birth Day Inducement Prize’ under Horizon 2020 to identify and bring to market innovative solutions preventing death and complications during pregnancy and childbirth.

The Horizon Prize for the Birth Day will be awarded to a solution that best demonstrates a reduction in maternal and/or newborn morbidity and mortality and/or stillbirths during facility-based deliveries. This solution will need to be novel, safe and scalable. The webinar will be useful to understand the general functioning of Inducement Prizes and the specificities of Birth Day Prize (objective, expected results, eligibility, proposal preparation (evaluation criteria) budget, evaluation process, funding conditions and awarding).

The webinar will be organized by the Health NCP Network HNN2.0 , and it will be presented by Grégoire Thiriar, Project Officer from the European Commission.

Participation to this webinar is free of charge but pre-registration is required. Due to the limited places, the registrations will be accepted on the first come-first served basis. The participation of more than one person per institution may be discouraged.

Deadline for registration: 07.04.2017 (or full capacity).
Registration does not constitute automatic acceptance to the webinar. You will receive a confirmation email by 10th of April.
